Theta Eta Chapter

Formal 2007

Alpha Phi is the youngest sorority chapter at UWO. Founded in 1991 by an outstanding group of women, their legacy lives on in our members today, the very best and brightest at Western.

Theta Eta has undergone a lot of change in the past couple years. In 2006 we celebrated our 15th year on campus and the following year, after a very successful informal recruitment season, we moved to our beautiful new house at 200 Sherwood Avenue.

Our sisters hail from very different backgrounds all over the world, and have a vast assortment of academic passions. We take a lot of pride in our diversity and individualism. The fields of study being pursued by Alpha Phis at Western include Biochemistry, Media Studies, Business, English, Health Sciences, Sociology, Film Studies, Criminology, Political Science, Women's Studies, Philosophy, Comparative Literature, Psychology, French, and Spanish.

Alpha Phis are very involved and can be found all over campus in leadership positions of different organizations, including Mustang Dancepack, varsity tennis, varsity fencing, residence staff teams, faculty soph teams, student government, AIESEC, Outdoors Club, Shutterbug, Brescia Bowl, Women in Science and Department of Mathematics (WISDOM), SALSA, and BSO/ASA/CSO, just to name a few.
